I'm currently accepting commission work, for portraits, caricature, kids, pets, superheroes, monsters, zoo animals, friends, enemies, junk you found on the floor, whatever.

Hi, I’m Dustin Resch. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and still live nearby. I’ve got a wife of 20 years and a couple of adorable but mischievous puppies, a long career in website design and development, and a whole lot of stories and characters zooming around inside my brain.

I've recently completed a Master of Fine Art degree in Children’s Book Illustration at the Academy of Art University, and I’ve got a bunch of projects in the works that I can’t wait to start sending to agents and publishers.

I also draw caricatures and portraits, and go to various Comic Con events to sell those. My work is mostly digital, painting on my big old Wacom Cintiq and my little portable Cintiq Companion, although I’m falling more and more in love with oil paints and pastels as well.

Another important thing to know: I’m a big, giant nerd. I have spelling bee and trivia medals and trophies, won both in childhood and childlike adulthood. I’m on a mission to get on Jeopardy. I’m a passionate advocate for literacy and science education, and hope to further those interests with the stories I will write and draw.
